“ORCHIDS IN APRIL” Each year the Sunshine Coast Orchid Society hosts two shows.  The first is the Autumn Show, “Orchids in April”, in which approximately nine Orchid Societies affiliated with the Sub-Tropical Orchid Council of Queensland create beautiful displays.  This show is held in the Uniting Church Hall, Corner of Queen and Ulm Streets, Caloundra.  It includes plant sales, product supplies and refreshments. “PELICAN WATERS SHOPPING VILLAGE SPRING SHOW” The Pelican Waters Shopping Village, which is in a wonderful part of Caloundra, is the venue for our second show.  This presents Sunshine Coast Orchid Society Members with the opportunity to show their spring blooms.  Visitors to the Shopping Village are rewarded with a beautiful spectacle of flowering orchids, foliage, bromeliads and anthuriums.  Plants are for sale at this show also.
